Chatit Huayhongtong

Chatit Huayhongtong is President/ Managing Director of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., a position he assumed in May 2021. As president, he is responsible for upstream operations in Thailand. Chatit brings extensive international upstream to the role with his over 31-year career and experience in operations engineering in various locations around the world, including in the United Kingdom and United States. He started his career at Chevron in 2002 as a Petroleum Engineer and had held number of subsurface and leadership positions.

In 2011 – 2013, Chatit served as Deputy Asset Manager of Platong Asset, and in 2013 – 2016, he also served as Asset Manager of Pailin Asset. In 2016 – 2018, Chatit became General Manager, Asset Development before he was assigned to work as General Manager, Operations in 2018 and maintained this role until April 30, 2021.

Chatit received his bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, in 1994 and his master’s degree in business administration from the same university in 2003.
